MS Access - question about form header and detail
I have a form that tracks personnel information on the form in the on the header part I have a text cell to type a persons name and it will locate the person in the form detail (which is set to Continuous). now what I am try to do is set it so when the information for the person changes it is captered and pasted to a different table (this is for archiving). Now ever thing works fine if you go from one record to another with in the form detail section, but when you update the record and then click on the text cell in the form header it does not capture the current information it captures the information be it got updated.

The way the capture works is based upon the record that you are edit it runs a append query on that soical once the information has been updated then appends that one record to the archive file. but it is not working when I go between detail and header, WHY?

Thanks for you help.
