Solved: Microsoft .NET framework 1.1
I am getting all kinds of errors when I run the Norton WINDOCTOR utility. It seems that I have 11 items under the M/Soft .NET Framework ---cannot access msvcr 80.dll with all the various .exe files not there. I have tried to down load the .NET FRAMEWORK 1.1 file but cannot seem to get to that exact one. Some others come up but not the actual 1.1 version. Do I have to remove the items shown in the Control Pnl "Add/Remove" area concerning items about MICROSOFT .NET, before I will be able to download the items I want?

Hi SBruce,

You do not have to remove anything before downloading a file that is not installed, but saved to disk when you download it. However, after you download it to disk, then remove the previous software before installing the downloaded version. Note: save it on the desktop to make it easy to find.

Try the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
