help with visual studio c++
Okay, so I learned c++ on a unix machine and compiling with g++, and I'm just learning my way around VS. How do you create a self-executable prog/app from your 'solution' in VS. All I can do is build and run, but not familiar with how to distribute so that you can run the prog on other pc's without VS. Thanks!

The .exe is saved in either Debug or Release of the solution directory. You want to build in Release before you distribute it.
