I am also using Norton Ghost 2003 having a problem making complete images.

I have built two very similar machines for work - machine 1 has more software than machine 2 does. The software is identical on both machines except for the software that makes machine 1 larger. I have made a ghost image of the complete hd for each. The HD's are 80gb hd's and about 25-35% full when the build is complete. Machine 1 which has more software on it and requires two dvd's to hold the entire image. Machine 2 which is smaller requires 3! Machine 1's image has been copied and tested it works fine. Machine 2's original ghost works to restore a hd but any copies of this original fail at varios points in the restore. Machine 2's original ghost has been reimaged several times and still does not work and fails with the same error.
