Firefox issue
Okay the log in boxes in firefox look weird.. but in IE.. they look fine.

add a colon after username and see if that helps.

Use another font-family besides Verdana for "Username:" and "Password:". Try Tahoma for example.

dont use the image as a background, use 2 small images and put them into a table, and have them in seperate cells...

<td>"box"</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>password:</td>
<td>"box"</td>
</tr>
that should make sure they dont end up behind the textboxes... and also if you have the textboxes in seperate cells you should be able to align them, and be sure there are no spaces in front of them..
