Unhappy Installing a banner
Hi, I am trying to copy and paste html code (a banner) and when I do, it shows only code and not the banner. Could it be because I use Firefox? Or another reason. i haven't tried it with IE.
I tried installing a banner at Myspace and then I registered for a web page and tried installing banner there and the same thing happened. Please, can anyone help me with this? thank you,
Violet

Usually this comes from an incorrect path, a flaw in the name or a failure to upload the actual image to to the correct Dir.

What are you using for an HTML editor? You are making this much more difficult than need be!

Talking html code
I am not writing the banner code myself. I am not using an editor. i was just trying to copy and paste it. I was approved at commision junction. I signed up at pogo games to put up one of their banners so I can add one to my page and for some reason when I paste the html code, the banner doesn't show up, just the code
I was going to put it on new web page i made. It gave me option of making my own page with html code but since I am not so good at that, I opted for the easy to use templates and all ready made for me. I do not know what editor they are using for pages.
thank you for any help you can give me on this.

Smile html code
hi, it is supposed to be. I never put up a banner before but since I play pogo games, I thought what the heck, might as well put up one of theri banners and even if I don't make money with it, it might make enough to pay for my yearly membership with pogo but I cannot seem to get the banner to work for me.
thanks,
violet

That script works fine if you create a standalone html document. As far as I can tell myspace doesn't allow javascript, which is understanable if you understand the possibilities.

Look on pogo to see if they have a non JS banner you can add.

I signed up for a web site called freewebs thinking it was myspace for the reason the banner wouldn't display which I understand too. Here is where it said non java. Can you look it over and see what is wrong with the code as I had tried it also. Should "Hide tracking code in link" and "encrypt link" be checked?
thank you very much,
violet
This one says NON-JAVA script code:
<a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/ce106dlurlt8B9HFIBA8A9CIAAII" target="_top" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.clubpogo.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">
