I m from india and i m new to website designing.I m modifying the free template i got from oswd.org

Here is the review of the template oswd.org .I managed to do many things but i cant figure it out 1 thing.

I have attached the index page on which i have worked

I created a menu with xtreeme dhtml menu studio and inserted it into the table( with the help of extension) below the site banner .The page looks as desired in opera and ie but in firefox it goes outside the page (please open the index in firefox and you will see how does that look)
I need it to be fixed as i cant design my another pages

1 more problem is there ..look at the bottom of the page ..the page doesnt render in browser the way it should

I dont remember the site ..but it is about google adwords and updates it per day
I like that sites banner which says "google adwords" ( in blue letters)or something like that .
I would like to use very good fonts in webpage to create some titles but as most of the users cant have those fonts i plan to create image for them
Can you suggest me some good fonts ?

I want to become a good designer so do i need to start html or i can jump on php (i heard from some1 that its easier ..dont know if its true)

Is there any good site banner creator ..i can use with ease ?
Also i need some basic tutorial link for photoshop so i can create some basic and good looking banners
