Solved: Open .xls Or .doc Without Virus Scan
Hi all,
When I open my large macro loaded workbooks (office 2003 pro), a time consuming virus scan is invoked. Is it possible to suspend virus scan on certain (preferred, or all if necessary) workbooks?
Thanks,
Tom

Start Norton control panel. -> Click Options
In the left pane, click Miscellaneous.
In the right pane, under "How to keep Microsoft Office documents protected," uncheck Enable Office plugin. Click OK
