Writing a macro to automate graphing of around 9000 datapoints over 100 different series.

I have written the macro to select the appropriate data to graph based on user input. This selects the range of data.

I am trying to select 3 columns of the established range to be used as the X-axis daya, and 2 data series in a graph, the effective range of the selected column would be stored in a variable and used in the creation of the graph SeriesCollections.

I have tried using the following syntax and it doesn't seem to work

x_axis = Range(graphRange).Columns(25).Select

Range(graphRange), has been defined previously.

I need the x_axis variable to contain the range of the data contained in the column of the graphRange range.

Did you consider that, in a range, references are relative? Column indices should be counted starting by the first column of the range. I.e. in the range of "C1:E15", column "E" has an index of 3, not 5, as it would have in the sheet.

Also, if graphRange is a Range type variable, then the correct syntax is
x_axis = graphRange.Columns(25).Select
