Hi flytape8490,

Supercomputers are not generally used to compute pi to the bazillionth digit as pi has alreday been computed via supercomputer to over a trillion digits. The time of use of a supercomputer costs lots of $$$, and is not worth it since the value of pi for any calculation needing it would use a well known pi approximation. For example, the value of pi to 40 digits is more than enough to compute the circumference of a circle as large as the Milky Way galaxy to an error less than the size of a proton.

Before you select a task for a computer, your best bet is to understand what the limits of the problem domain are. In the case of pi, supercomputers have computed pi to over a trillion digits, so any recomputation via supercomputer would be not only a waste of time, but of money.

However, you are in luck, as the software for computing pi on any PC to billions of digits can be found from links provided here.

Knock yourself out!
