Deleting the last character off a cell in excel
Hello,

I am importing data from project into excel.

It is data relating to work hours, so each value has for example 5.6h or 6h

The H on the end obviously relating to hour.

I want to know if its possible after importing into excel to highlight an area and have a macro to just delete the "h" off all of the times.

As currently I can't add times up with the h on the end.

Thanks

Hi

I believe a simple Edit/Replace should do. Highlight the cell range and replace "h" with "" (empty string).
Or is it imperative that you use a macro?

Jimmy
