You can get them here but 5.00 is no longer available. The oldest is 5.01 SP2 which is a very stable version.

Can you install 5 & 5.5 while having 6 already installed?

No, IE setup won't let you do that. There 's a way to do it but first I need to know what version of Windows your running and why do you want to go back to a prior version of IE? Is there more to this like problems your experiencing that your trying to fix or is it just a simple disliking of IE 6?

Windows 2000

Actually I want to keep IE 6 on the computer while having 5 & 5.5 on it as well. I need them to check browser compatability when developing websites.

As far as I know, you can't install multiple versions of IE in the same Windows install and be able to use each separately. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about compatibility between IE 5 and IE 6. They are pretty much compatible from what I've seen. The real compatibility issues to be concerned with arise between IE and Netscape.

BTW, I'm going to move this to the Development forum. Maybe someone there will have something to add to this.

If your not hand coding and you have copies of Ultradev/Dreamweaver/Frontpage, these programs check for compatibility issues. That may be an option for you to look at!?!
