running exe built on windows xp ; on NT machine
I have a dll and an exe which i built using visual studio 6.0 on windows xp machine.
When i copy this windows nt PC it executes properly.

But randomly it crashes.

i use following APIs in the code.

1. event related apis
2. critical sections
3. new,delete
4. readeventlog
5.waitforsingleobject/multipleobject/create thread

The fastest way to determine the cause of the crash on NT would be to download and install the Windows debugger on the NT machine and then use WinDbg to run your program. When the program crashes it will break into the debugger and you can examine the stack trace to determine exactly where in your code the program is crashing. You will also need to copy your program's symbol files along with the executable onto the NT machine.
