C++ on ubuntu
Does anybody knows a good C++ compiler with all libraries in ubuntu linux tks

Issue the command from the regular user ubuntu account:
$ sudo apt-get update
Note: you may have to do this twice if there are notice messages at the end of the output.

Once that is done, then using the main menu pull-down for Ubuntu, select:
System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager

Then within the Synaptic Package Manager, use the search button to search for: g++
Select the updates to be installed - there are several, and then click on the Apply button which will download and then install each package.
