Hi there,

Is this going to end up in the Excel workbook? Why not just use VBA from within Excel to grab the data then? What data exactly are we talking about? PST files are generally kept in the same location only depending on the OS build (which you could find easily if you do not know by performing an internet search, or looking at your own Outlook). Which brings me back to 1) what information are you looking for and 2) why do you want to bring the info back to Excel (i.e. purposes)?

Hi Thanks for getting back so quickly.

It is going to put in to excell. but all the data is going to go in to one book. all 3000 users.

also my vbs skills are next to none. so any help would be apreciated.

As regards data. PST files have been created by the users them selfs and are in wierd and crasy locations. as is the other data they store. C:\root D:\root D:\ my docs c:\ doc and settings\%username%\my docs ect.

I allready have a list off the 3000 usernames and machine names i just need the ability to 1) find any users local data stored on there machines. Wod docs, psts ect.
2) get any info that might be usfull. apps maby. ect.

I would prefer the sript to be run fom my machine but, beggers cant be choosers

Thanks for any help you can provide.
