IE and Mozilla
I have a website with a page that is W3c validated but the footer shows different in IE and Mozilla. In IE the middle part of the footer (it's in a table) is centered perfectly but in Mozilla it is pushed over to the left.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to fix this?

Enter javascript:alert(document.compatMode) in the address field in both browsers to make sure they're using CSS1Compat mode to render the page. If not, you need to fix your doctype.

If so, try the page in a Firefox 3 beta, Opera 9.27, an Opera 9.5 beta and Safari with the latest WebKit to see how things look in them. Most likely, IE is rendering it incorrectly and you need to fix it for the others first and figure out a wordaround for IE.

IE and Firefox often render pages differently because of how they interpret the code. Can you post the code for the footer (or the whole page)?
