Thumbs up Microsoft Visual J# .NET for Visual Studio .NET: July 1
Hiya

Microsoft Visual J# .NET is a development tool for Java-language developers who want to build applications and services on the .NET Framework. Microsoft Visual J# .NET is not a tool for developing applications intended to run on a Java Virtual Machine. Applications and services built with Visual J# .NET will run only in the .NET Framework and will not run on any Java Virtual Machine. Visual J# .NET has been independently developed by Microsoft. It is not endorsed or approved by Sun Microsystems, Inc.

System Requirements

1. One of the following editions of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET:

o Enterprise Architect
o Enterprise Developer
o Professional
o Academic
o Visual Basic .NET Standard
o Visual C# .NET Standard

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/prodinfo/sysreq.asp for system requirements.
Note: VJ# also installs and runs on Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Professional Trial version. There is no product support for the trial version, however.
Warning: If you installed a pre-release version of Visual Studio .NET on your computer, then you must uninstall it before installing Visual Studio .NET. See the Visual Studio .NET readme for details.

2. Either Visual C# .NET or Visual Basic .NET must be installed on your computer if you are using the Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Developer, Professional, or Academic edition.

3. It is recommended that you install the .NET Framework Service Pack 1 which you can obtain from http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframewo...1/default.asp.

Operating System - Windows NT 4.0 & 2000, Win XP

Regards

eddie
