Question Help with Photo
Hello: I made a memorial page for a young lady named Heather. Her Mom has sent me a photo of Heather and her best friend Emily who both died in the same car accident. The photos came via email and I was wondering if anyone out there could please find a way to separate the photos and email them to me separately. It would be much appreciated! The page addy is:

http://www.angelfire.com/stars3/ange...002a/pg16.html

My email addy is angelize12@hotmail.com.

Thank you for any help! Marlene (Pixie) angelize56

Hi angelize

I hope you don't mind my doing something for you as well - I just love playing with photographs.

Didn't know how to post the pics on here as attachments sorry, so I have put them on a temporary page on my own webspace. As soon as I have heard from you, I'll delete them. Hope they're OK.

John

Here's the pics

Hi John: Thanks, they look lovely. Pretty sad knowing they died though. Heather and Emily were on a short trip and Heather fell asleep at the wheel. She hit a car head-on killing the 68 yr old Dr and his 62 year old wife, as well as herself and Emily instantly. Emily was assumed to be asleep at the time of the accident as her seat was down and she was covered with a blanket. Truly a tragedy beyond words. I am just now finishing up the page for the girls, I'll post it when I am through. Thanks again John. Take care. Marlene

P.S.-I hope no one judges Heather, as falling asleep at the wheel could happen to any of us. When I was 18 I did was but jolted awake when my car started heading off the road! Very frightening and I never drive anywhere now when I know I'm tired. The sleepiniess just came on suddenly for me.

You are absolutley right - and I don't think anyone will blame Heather. Roads are not as long here as in your neck of the woods but every driver who travels the roads needs to be alert to what we call "driver fatigue". Thinking.... "it won't happen to me" means that it could be too late.

I'm so sorry about your friends - please send them my condolences.

I should like to see the memorial page when you have completed it - and if there's anything I can do to help - please do ask.

John

Your welcome. Hey you know where I am and we are always posting images in Random Discussion.

No I only croped the images and I could adjust the pictures also.
I would not of even been in this forum because I never look here but was looking at "Currently Active Users" and seen the post and posted and then later wonder where it was. So after looking I found I posted my first post here.

Hewee & John: Here is the finished page if you want to see it:

http://www.angelfire.com/stars3/ange...002b/pg17.html

Thanks again hewee. Glad you left random long enough to find my post in development! Random can be a little addictive! I was originally going to post this thread in random but figured a mod would have moved it anyways! Take care hewee and have a nice week! BTW....is it HE WEE or HEW WE, the pronunciation of hewee??? Just curious! lol angelize56 Marlene

Thanks,

I don't know how it is spelled really. hewee was what my dad nicked name me Harry as a baby so maybe he wee is right.
Boy is a - he
baby is - wee
you get hewee

All the kids had nick names as babies and small kids from my dad.

Thanks John! You're welcome. Hewee: What photo program do you use? I have Photo Impact....but when I go to use crop the picture disappears and is replaced by a pink box with a teenie tiny square in the middle which USED to be the pic. Haven't got the hang of anything there yet except framing and adding text. Take care and have a lovely weekend! angelize56 Marlene

Angelize - I use ULEAD PI as well - great prog. There is a brilliant help forum that I'm sure would help you, it can be found here, ULEAD PhotoImpact Info Centre

I have used it several times with great success. Rather like here, there's a great bunch of folk who seem to want to do everything they can to help.
