Installing JRE, JDK, JavaHelp...can't figure it out
I haven't used anything remotely Java-ish for several years. Want to use JavaHelp. Exceedingly skimpy set-up instructions tell me this:

* Create the JHHOME environment variable that contains the
path to the folder in which you installed the JavaHelp
software.

* Make sure that the JDK\bin folder or JRE executable is in
your execution path.

So: What JDK\bin folder? What JRE executable? I downloaded
and installed Java 2 some months ago. I see no JDK folder.
I see no executable named JRE.

Please, no sneering. I was a DOS whiz when y'all were probably in kiddygarten.

(Solved) Installing JRE, JDK, JavaHelp
Excellent (though slightly out-of-date) instructions can be found here:

http://www.knopf.com/tips/javahelp-install.html

Now, why do you suppose Sun Microsystems is unable or unwilling to reveal these essential steps? One would think they don't want anyone to use Java and its several excrescences...
