Hello,
I have a function that takes 3 parameters: one (void **) and two unsigned long ints.
I want to convert this function into a macro, but I get the error: Invalid use of void expression. and a warning : dereferencing a void * pointer.
How do I get around this problem ?
Please advise.

Have you tried taking out a * from your (void**)?

A little more detail could help me understand better. What OS/Compiler? What language (C or C++)? Could you post some sample code with the declaration of this void** object you are creating and how you use it in the function/macro.
