firefox in linux
i have a question that i am hoping that someone here can answer, i know that there is a way to edit a certain javascript file in the windows version of firefox that will allow firefox to save usernames and passwords without that annoying prompt that asks u if u want firefox to remember the password. my question is how would i do that in linux? what is the name of the file that i would have to edit in the linux version of firefox? and how exactly would i edit this file? i would need the commands to show me how to get to and edit this file. i use an ubuntu based distribution called linux mint 7. anyone who can help me with this i would appreciate it.

thank you
