Question Interesting images
I was browsing the web the other day and i found this image that was really cool, when you moved your mouse over it it caused the image to do sort of a water ripple effect with every frame the mouse covered. I was entranced by this and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find what im guessing is a javascript to do that?

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi

The JavaBoutique website has loads of applets, some doing the ripple effect over various pictures. There are also other effects, like rain or snow over another picture.

Below is a link to a ripple effect that also allows the interested ( or even courageous ! ) person to view the source code.

Failing that, here is another link to various visual-type applets with various effects mimicking the weather, etc. Instructions on how to use these applets in one's own site are given.

JoyousMonkey
