Text over an image
I tried this code from a previous post to put a text over an image.
The text works fine, but the image only shows the upper 1/3.
Can you tell me what I need in the code to show the full image.

code:<xmp><table background="URL of your image">
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="middle">
Your Text Here
</td>
</tr>
</table></xmp>

Many thanks

I am guessing that your table is only as tall as 1/3 of your image. The best way to maintain at minimum table height is to use a spacer image.

Create a transparent 1x1px image and place it in a cell on one side or the other. Than dimension the spacer to be as tall as your background image. You will have to use rowspan on the cells the transparent image holds.

So for ex.
PHP Code:
<table background="URL of your image">
  <
br />
  <
tr> <br />
    <
td align="center" valign="top"> <br />

Your Text Here <br /> </td>
    <
td align="center" valign="middle"><img src="spacer.gif" width="1" height="55"></td>
    <
br />
  </
tr>
  <
br />
</
table
