Upload it to your web host and use a regular link to the file on your website. Or you can use the < EMBED > Tag to play it from your web page.

Your welcome!!!!
And if you decide to play it directly from your page, I reccommend that you set autostart to false and add a console (just another 3 lines of html to do) so the user can control the file playing.

you can also put the file on your web space like suggested above, but instead of linking to the mpeg, you make a rm playlist file that points to the mpeg and then link to the rm playlist file in the web page instead.

then when you click on the link, realplayer will load and play the file

you can also use the embed command, but it is better to also link to a playlist file for the embed command.

If you use a playlist file, it works in all browers. If you embed an mpeg instead of a playlist that points to an mpeg, it probably won't work in Opera and possibly not in other browsers besides Internet Explorer.

I have a Band fan site here http://home.tbbs.net/shadow/mindshift.htm

and you can play their music in Winamp, WMP, and Real Player. The way I do it works in all browsers.

the link to my rm playlist file is http://home.tbbs.net/shadow/mindshift/rpmindshift.rm

you can download the file and open it with notepad to see how I set up the links.

This is only if you are concerned with it working in all browsers.

I have RealOne and I can't get your rm playlist to work. The other problem is it requires software from Real Media, who has a pretty bad rep around here.

not saying that you didn't have a problem with my playlist, but it works perfect for myself and the regulars that visit that site.

but just for the heck of it I tested it and had some others test it.

It's working for us.

are you saying that the link doesn't load my playlist for you or are you saying that when you set up your own playlist, it didn't work.

I have realone player version 6..0.10.505

just make sure that you rm files are associated with RealOne Player.

I also have a playlist for winamp and WMP for those that hate RealONE Player.

I personally like winamp
