I've got the same problem + more....
I've got the same bar showing up in my browser I've also noticed that I've been receiving many pop up ads since this whole thing started to appear (about a few weeks ago). The thing is that they are not from webpages, they load even when I'm not using the internet explorer, plus I've got a pop up stopper. I loaded the Hijack This program and here are the results:

Welcome to TSG!

First run This uninstaller:

http://home01.wxs.nl/~kleyn080/uninst.exe

Next, use the following tool to delete the files themselves:

http://www.mjc1.com/files/mo/drpeper.html
Download it, it will self extract to c:\.

Navigate to:

C:\drpeper\Find backup and Delete Peper files.vbs

Doubleclick the....... Find backup and Delete Peper files.vbs file

On the first prompt copy and paste:

Qep78k.exe

And hit ok.

On the second, paste:

Zgl8.exe

And hit ok.

It will find all the peper files and delete them. Also it makes backups in the same folder.
It will open a text file (Peper.txt) with a list of all files deleted.

Now go here http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ and download Adaware 6
Install the program and launch it.

I strongly recommend that you read the help file to familiarize yourself with the program.

First in the main window look in the bottom right corner and click on "Check for updates now" and download the latest referencefiles.

Make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"

From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan (recommended)"

Click "Use custom scanning options" then click "Customize" and have these options selected: Under "Drives and Folders" put a check by "Scan within archives" and below that under "Memory and Registry" put a check by all the options there.

Now click on the "Tweak" button in that same window. Under "Scanning engine" select "Unload recognized processes during scanning" and under "Cleaning Engine" select "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

Click "proceed" to save your settings.

Now to scan just click the "Next" button.

When scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu and click "Next")

Restart your computer.

Then go here http://spybot.eon.net.au/index.php?...n&page=download and download Spybot Search & Destroy.

Install the program and launch it.

Before scanning press "Online" and "Search for Updates" .

Put a check mark at and install all updates.

Click "Check for Problems" and when the scan is finished let Spybot fix/remove all it finds marked in RED.

Restart your computer.

When finished, post the list from the Peper.txt file here , along with another Hijack This log.

You're Welcome!

Before you go running of all happy please go to the C:\drpeper folder and find the peper.txt file and copy and paste it's contents back here in a reply along with another Hijack This log.

You had some other problems in the log that will require further attention.

I'm having trouble with my C:\drpeper folder , everytime I double click on "Find backup and Delete Peper files.vbs ", this message comes up:

Windows Script Host

Script: C:\drpeper\Fine backup and Delete Peper files.vbs
Line: 18
Char: 2
Error: ActiveX component can't create object: 'Scripting.FileSystemObject'
Code: 800A01AD
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

I don't know what's going on with that.......

Go here and download and reinstall windows scripting to fix the VBS script error.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Run the drpeper script again as instructed before and be sure to post the contents of the peper.txt file.

Next Click on the link below and it will download CWShredder. Close all browser windows, click on the cwshredder.exe and let it do it's thing.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/junk/CWShredder.exe

When it is finished restart your computer.

I strongly recommend you install the folowing patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...n/MS03-011.asp

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...n/ms00-075.asp

After that come back and post another Hijack This log and the contents of the peper.txt file.

Don't go getting all happy yet your problems are far from over. We still have work to do here.

Okay, I installed the fix, and it let me open up the "Find backup and Delete Peper files.vbs" file and enter in "Qep78k.exe", however this came up when I clicked on "ok":

Windows Script Host

Script: C:\drpeper\Fine backup and Delete Peper files.vbs
Line: 41
Char: 1
Error: Permission denied
Code: 800A0046
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

EDIT: I just went back "Find backup and Delete Peper files.vbs" and entered in "Qep78k.exe" and this came up:

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\Qep78k.exe doesn't exist. Please try again."

I then entered in "Zgl8.exe" and this came up:

Windows Script Host

Script: C:\drpeper\Fine backup and Delete Peper files.vbs
Line: 41
Char: 1
Error: Permission denied
Code: 800A0046
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

Go ahead and delete the C:\drpeper folder

Some of the files we are going to delete may be hidden files so click on My Computer. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close all windows except HijackThis and "Fix checked"

Okay, when I went into safe mode, none of those files / folders were there (I even searched for them). However, I did run the online virus scan, and they found no files that contained viruses. Oh, and I "fixed checked" all of those from your list on Hijack This.

Do you want another Hijack this log?

Okay, I did that and was able to delete a few of those files, however I still could not find these:

The C:\Program Files\couponsandoffers folder
The C:\Program Files\AutoUpdater folder
The C:\WINDOWS\rundll16.exe file

The other three were there and I deleted them
