I have an old computer with usb 1 . attached I have a 4 port hub, with one further 4 port hub attached (daisy Chain ?)
I have a new computer with usb 2. Question. will the old hubs work with the usb2.

they may do but will only give usb1.1 support, usb 2 should be backward compatable - also power requirement may overload the USB port - are they powered Hubs at all

All USBs have built-in power lines; hubs and ports.

etaf:- I am agree what you said here.

USB Hub has generally problem of power failure, which irritate in doing task over PC.
