Setting All Sites to Display in IE Compatibility Mode Really Makes Computer Faster!
Sup All?

I run Windows XP (SP-3) and I have discovered that by going to Compatibility Mode Settings Under "Tools" in IE 8, that by checking the box, "Display All Websites in Compatibility Mode" will speed up the loading of pages. Note that I also clean my cache files regularly and use the CC Cleaner program, but the speed boost is very nice! IE does not have to check and synchronize to IE 8 (or a later browser setting) to get the pages to come up faster.

I don't have IE 9, can't get it because it only runs on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and the forthcoming Windows 8. If there is a Compatibility All for websites in IE9 you may want to try that to see if it speeds things up on your web-browsing.

Actually,

You Tube and a few other sites call IE 8 IE 7 when Compatability Mode is selected. I have deselected the Compatability Mode option because of this. Speed seems to be about the same. We'll see over time what changes.
