CREATE 2 PARTITIONS/FORMAT/INSTALL WIN98se
Hello one and all. I've seen several people (Hello Mysecret! )ask about partitioning and formatting a HDD then clean installing Windows. I decided to play with my old computer and take notes. The following guide is a surefire way of performing this painlessly! If any of you try this let me know how it worked for you.

What perfect timing!! I am about to undertake putting a new (used) harddrive in an old computer and install win98 on it. This is exactly the kind of info that I need!

Thanks!

Thx kindly cindan and mysecret!

Here's something else I tried and works great! When I copied my Win98 Cd to hard drive, I copied it to D:. I then went to D: and simply typed "setup". You can install Windows directly from cabs on another drive! no ned to copy onto C: This saves a lot of time!
