You can upload and use a custom avatar after 100 posts. Until then, you can only choose from one of the 1600 or so that TechGuy has enabled for the board.

Quote:
the maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 20000 bytes (whichever is smaller).
Go to http://forums.techguy.org/member.php...ion=editavatar after you reach the 100 posts mark to upload your custom avatar.

To use the IMG button in your replies, click on it, and it will open a popup window that you input the address to an image, and tyhat will allow the image to show here, as opposed to just having a link to it.

Well I just noticed this here...you're trying to attach an image to your reply, right? You've to first upload that file and then if you want to, use the 'img' tag...hope this is clear!

Guess you tried to attach a file longhair.gif in your earlier post

For some reason I am unable to. .This picture is one I uploaded from another site and have used it in differnet mediums, so I know that the file is good.
