custom buttons in iexplorer toolbar
Hi,

I'm looking for a way to make custom buttons in the IE toolbar. For example, I want a button that would view the source of a web page or that would launch an application such as Kazaa.

A program that I've found easy to use for such things is "AddaButton".

There is also an option NOT to install SaveNow with the aplication (hard one that). In previous versions this option to deselect installation of SaveNow seemed to have no effect (although after (SaveNow) removal by SpyBot, the program still worked anyway), but I have installed this version (3.0), and deselected the option to install SaveNow (during main program installation), and what do you know...the "Software" wasn't installed (ran a check with SpyBot).

Hope this is of some use....

If you really want to Spruce up IE browser with collored Icons for existing Items here is a procedure designed by TSG Member Mosiac. Take a bit of work but is relly nice.

I just installed it and its exactly what I need.

Just one question:

What parameters do I have to add to notepad to make it view the source of the current page?

If you use the already existing edit button, you will view the source of the current page.

I create my own toolbar buttons using the instructions from MSDN.

You need a GUID generating program. Do a google search and you'll find one.

And I compile batch files using a DOS compiler. That has to be downloaded too.

If it is a preexisting Exe you want to run, that makes it easier.
