search wizard
When i start my computer the search wizard message comes up saying found new hardware (printer) although i have a printer installed.How do i stop this message.

Go into the Control Panel> Add/Remove Hardware> Remove the printer or printers that are in there and reboot the system ...

Re Install the printer you now have with its Setup disk ... if you have no setup disk for it find the latest drivers in that printers website and reinstall the printer using the latest drivers available.

also its always a good idea to tell us what the Windows OS that you have is along with any info on the printer like brand and model#.
