Pop ups
I'm having a real problem with a pop up. This macromedia shockwave 6 popup that asks me to install it happens all the time, and I can't get rid of it, not even with webwasher. It's not a regular popup, it's the kind that when you ask to install a codec or something, it pops up with certification and everything. Well, this one won't stop. And when I log on to Netzero, same thing happens, only with yes and no buttons. How can I stop this annoyance? Besides on downloading so it stops bothering me?

It will always ask if you want to install the plug in if a page needs it to run certain content on the page. I am not sure there is any way around it. You might want to try going into Internet Tools > Options and the advanced tab and uncheck all if the install on demand check boxes.

Not sure this will work, but try adding Macrmedia to your list of restricted sites in IE........

right, but it doesn't pop up because I go to macromedia.com, I don't go there. C, it pops up no matter what web page I'm on, especially when I'm on TSG, or when I log on to Netzero.
