auto play of mp3 cd
how can i get a mp3 cd to start playing automatically in winamp when put in the cd drive. im using win98se. thanks, franco

autoplay cd
Hi franco:

Click on >my computer
tools
forlder options
file types tab
scroll to cd audio track (highlight)
advanced
actions list
play
set default

Try this -

Run Winamp, press Ctrl+P combo to enter the Preferences. Now click on File Types, then check the box Associate with audio CDs, Close.

Next, right click on My Computer, click on Properties, Device Manager, click on the + adjacent to CDROM, select the CDROM, right click on it, click Properties, Settings, check the box titled Auto Insert Notification, Ok, Ok.
