Searchbar
Has anybody tried Patrick Deal's Searchbar?
The Searchbar is pretty great. Now there is an add on. It allows you to add search engines to your right click menu. All you have to do is highlight a word and right click and pick a search engine. You can add engines to the default ones.

Hi Deke:
I use Searchbar. I've found it to be very convenient. I find myself using Google[my favorite search tool] more than ever, frequently out curiosity rather than just for a 'need to know'.

Searchbar
XbrvhrtX-Do you mean for the search results to appear in a new window or what? Sorry if I'm a little slow on the uptake.

I get the same deke but it opens in same explorer window, if i highlight any text in your prev post and search for that word this window jumps straight to google, i would prefer it to open a new window for the search so i dont have to back button to get back to your post, can i set IE to open a new window everytime i click on a new link or search?

I cannot get it to work in searchbar but here is what you do to have it happen in IE:
Tools\Internet Options\Advanced\look under Browsing and uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" or just hold down shift when you click on a link.

I can do all that with my favorite search engine, Google. I have it as a toolbar add on. The circled button in my attachment is for Copernic 2001 Basic. It is a free search tool that uses the top ten search engines and starts its own program. The Web Search from right clicking a word is from Yahoo and it opens in a separate window.
All three searches came up with the same results. The langa return has someone questioning how to get that program and getting 404 errors at the download site.

XbrvhrtX-Ignore the first part of that answer as that is a solution to another problem.
