Found the idea intriguing so I downloaded. Upon download found out there is no readme file only an .exe program. Reviewed Gsearchs website and Googles did not find any documentation on it. Went ahead and set up program anyway and had the little Icon placed in lower right as expected, however attempting to use Icon as instructed did not produce an input window as anticipated. Nothing could be done with Icon. After many attempts to use as designed I proceeded to attempt an uninstall. Found out there is no uninstaller, nor an entry in Add\Remove programs and also no folder in Programs to reference. The only way I was able to uninstall it was using my system restore feature in WinME.
Thanks for the lead though, good idea but it just did not work out.

Dave

I like my toolbars small as well, but you can make the Google toolbar pretty small the way it is now.
Here are my toolbars. The Googlebar can be made even smaller than this, BTW.

I'm glad to find out I was not the only one to download and have the dickens getting rid of it. I finally deleted the whole folder out of C\. Then I tried to delete out of the Recycle Bin and it kept tell ing me it was write protected. Finally got rid of it. Even after all that the little icon would come up in the system tray. It finally vanished.

I might have posted this already, so excuse me if I did.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...cess/ie5wa.asp

This only works on IE 5.x

You can add as many as you like.

Web Accessories
Here is what the "Links List" part of Web Accessories will do on refdesk.com. As you can see there are 729 links on this one reference site.

Searchbar
Here is an image of Searchbar. It can be located anywhere on you desktop or you can have it in the background like I do with just an F5 key away. I have 28 search engines on it and you can have as many as you like on the addon so you can highlight a word or phrase and right click and there they are on the menu to search with.

Why not put a Google search Bookmarklet on your toolbar?

Grey-That's pretty cool. All I have to do with Searchbar is highlight and right click a word or phrase and this is what I get:
