Question Solved: Re: Links\URL's
How do you make a link for someone to click on? I know how to cut and paste the web site address BUT I've seen people put a single word like: "here","click" ect., and when you left click on those words, it take you to a web site. How is this done? Thanks Dave.

Howdy Money Pit

here's another way...

[ url=the url goes here]Click[/url] when you type it don't leave the space between the first bracket and the u

it should look like this...

Click

or... as Rhett said...open a reply or new message window...up where it says size, font ,color etc... click on http://...in the little popup window type the word you want people to click ie: Go, Click, Here etc...then click OK...then in the next popup window type or paste the url you want to link to and click OK then submit the message

Ohh, I understand.
We are explaining how to make links in your posts here.
In outlook express, create your new message, and go to Insert>>Hyperlink.

Buck: I tried what you suggested, but when I tried to click on 'hyperlink' it wasn't highlighted, so I couldn't click on it. Never mind this seems too conplicated. I'll keep doing it the 'ole' way. Thanks for your time. Dave.

Dave.....
When you create your email message, run your mouse over and highlight the word that you want associated with the hyperlink. Such as......
Please CLICK here. The word CLICK would be highlighted. Then go up to INSERT>HYPERLINK. In that box, type in the address you want, then click ok.

OK Now it ALL makes sense. Selecting HTML in email was the key. Thanks buck and 'others' Dave.
