Some other 'HD junk' that can be deleted, plus another tip.
Everyone pretty much knows the basics of cleaning out your HD. From disk cleanup..to IE/tools/internet options *for deleting your cookies, temp internet files, history etc..*, and of course the good old C:\Windows\Temp. Let's not forget the myriad of programs out there like Spider, Disk cleanup software etc..., But, there are other little sneaky places that hoard up tons of useless crap, that no program or cleanup seem to get rid of. Here is some extra junk you can safely delete.

If you use Yahoo Messenger

Go to C:\Program Files\Yahoo\Messenger\Storedim
Delete all files in that folder. It's useless junk that takes up extra space and can cause problems with Yahoo Messenger.

If you use Real Player One.

Go to C:\Program Files\Real\Real Player\History
Delete all of this. It's just a copy of everything you viewed with RPOne. Useless.

Also, if you don't want anyone ever seeing anything you viewed with your RP, or you just find this to be unecessary, this is a must.

-Open Real Player One
-Go to tools/preferences
-At the bottom, click "clear all history lists accessible from the file menu and the location bar".
-Right underneath, (to prevent your file menu from ever recording and holding onto every video you ever viewed permanently) UNCHECK 'enable a history list in the file menu'.

By doing all of the above for Real Player One, it will probably save you a lot of grief if a spouse/sig other ever opens your player

If you use ICQ

You have no idea how many temp files are stored in ICQ. I simply did a find/folders and files..typed in *.tmp, and over 5000 came up, almost all of them ICQ. Delete them! This is also another way of finding other useless *.tmp folders on your puter.

If anyone knows of any other sneaky places..please post!!
