when I try to add a custom login screen to aim it doesnt work. I save the file as "login logo.bmp" and put it in my "AIM95" folder and when I exit aim and turn it back on it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong?

For making those AIM: links that automatically send someone a msg or add to your buddylist, etc, you can use the AIM Links Generator I made. I made it just to play around with javascript but I think it works well enough to post.

Here's another javascript i just made for AIM.
Its pretty cool.
As you may know writing %n in your profile shows the person's screen name. With this it can show the actual name of the person.
It works like this:
There is a link in my profile to
http://www24.brinkster.com/brendandonhue/aim.html?sn=%n
If i were on my own sn, aim would translate that to
http://www24.brinkster.com/brendando...=brendandonhue
My javascript would search the URL for the phrase sn= and set the sn as a variable.
Then it uses If/Else to check if that screen name is in my list of names. If it is, it says "Hi (name)" if not, it says "Hi There".
The downside is it takes some time to add in all of your buddies screennames and names.
If you know maybe basic HTML you should be able to view source on mine, and change my buddies to yours just by switching the names.

Ok, basically what it does is.
Someone clicks the link in my profile on AIM.
and it says "Hi Bob" or "Hi Joe" or whatever.

Those files that I posted are only for my buddy list. They have my buddies names in them.
I was saying, if someone wanted to make one for their buddy list, they could view the source of my page, and change the screennames/names to their friends. Then they could upload it to their webspace and use it.
I have moved the script into a JS File for easier editing, so you would actually change the contents of
