Geeze! Why didn't they have this when I was in school? Babelfish takes words and phrases and translates them from English to a foreign language, and vice versa. You'll never have to struggle through another translation of The Little Prince in French again! It even has the ability to translate entire Web pages.

Of course, the translations are of words and do not include definitions. And some phrases are awkward. For instance, It might translate "logistics coordinator" as "coordinator in the logistics," but you'll get the idea.

This is extremely useful when you perform an Internet search and it comes back with a foreign language Web site. I've also recommended this site to listeners who exchange e-mail with relatives in the "old country."

Google will often offer a <b><u>Translate This</b></u> option for foreign websites that appear in your searches.... I always thought that was a very nice thing for them to do
