Formatting can be a pain, so why not dump it?
Maybe you have a document with underlining and bold letters. Or you've downloaded stuff from the Web with box outlines and other funky things. You can get rid of this formatting in Word.

First select Format from Word's menu. Then, select Styles and Formatting. From the box that pops up, select Clear Formatting. It's that easy!

Formatting can be a real problem in stuff you copy from the Web, too. You can clean it all out in Word. When you're ready to paste it into a Word document, click Edit. But rather than selecting Paste, pick Paste Special. Click Unformatted Text and OK.
