Want more freespace? I tried this
Recently noticed my free space was going fast .
What I did was,
1. Runa good registry cleaner.
2. Run a disc scan
3. Run a de-frag
4. Run a good virus scan
5. Run a good tweak program
In general get your computer in the shape you want it.
6. stop system restore
7. Re-boot
8. Create new restore point
All other restore points will be lost;however. I freed up 19% drive space.
Don't know if this is a good practice or not ?
Feedback please.

Lightbulb drive space
You might also run a program (free by the way) called Spybot, after you go surfing the web. You will have choices to have questionable and dangerous files remove that are normally hidden. You could also remove cookies, they can consume some space also. I am going to copy your list to give to others. Its great and a good remember to do list.

Am currently getting info on this. The only thing I can tell you is it worked for me.
Am trying to make sure the restore points are dups.

Just got some input from Sexytech. Seems all good. Seehow you like it.
Sexytech informed me that dups ARE created at restore points.
