typewriter sound
Is there a way to make your keyboard sound as if it is a typewriter? (windows 98SE) I have found that when using yahoo messenger you have this option so I do not know if this option is build into computer or if there is a safe place to download this option. I would like to use it in my WORD program. Thanks in advance.

I have a small program called "typewrte32.exe" that does just that. The problem, however, is that I've had it for several tears, and I have no idea wher I got it. The program is merely the executable; no help files or documentation.

You could try searching CDNET or ZNET for such a freeware program...

Reading the above makes me sound like a has-been... probably true!

Here's a link to a freeware program:

Home Typist
http://www.colorpilot.com/home-typist.html

The same company puts out a shareware program:

Sound Pilot
http://www.colorpilot.com/soundpilot.html

I have used neither of the above programs.

I checked into typewriter sounds from within Word 2000 and I didn't find any sounds or help relating to typing or typing sounds.
