flashing banners hurting your eyes?
if you want those stupid flashing banners to stop flashing, after the page is done loading, just hit the stop button (next to refresh).

Or you could get some software that blocks the ads in the first place. I use Norton Internet Security because it has a built in ad blocker. Zonealarm Pro is a good choice too. However, I do NOT recommend Webwasher. It sucks and I have had problems with it each time I try it. The reason I keep trying it is because they update it every so often and I just wonder if the updates have made the problem fixed yet.
