Cool Access Any Website on Bess Firewalls and Norton Web Filter
Here's how:

simply ping the domain of the site you want to goto then type in http://ipaddress into the url bar and hit enter. You'll now have complete access to a previously blocked website. Enjoy!

What's a domain? A domain for example is: techguy.org, download.com, google.com, johnscompany.net, etc

Well, not if they're blocked by IP instead of URL.

Lol, true. But they usually aren't. I've tested this method on all Bess Firewalls and Norton Web Filters I've encountered and it's always worked. It's like they purposely programmed a back door.

However, I have encourntered a camp that had Bess and disabled and means of ping and whois in the command prompt so I had to use a website that had a web based ping service that was free.
