Angry Pop Ups
My boyfriend has recently been having some pop up problems. The pop ups come on even when he is not under internet explorer and I'm trying to find a way to get rid of them. I have activated his firewall on Windows XP and i have also turned off the "Messenger Service." They just won't go away.. Can someone please help?

To stop the pop-ups you need to disable the Active scripting and believe me that it works great. Just perform these steps in Internet Exploer.
1. Click on Tools--> Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Click on Custom level button.
4. Under Scripting section, select Disable.
Press ok.

Iam sure that this will work.

If the popups come when the web browser isn't open, none of those solutions are going to do anything...besides hide the problem.
