Want to tune and tweak your computer with settings that are normally
hidden deep inside your registry ? Instead of wading through settings
XenTweak can install all in one settings - saving a lot of time.
XenTweak differs from other tweak programs because it tweaks the most
common and tested settings. It also tweaks some settings never before
seen in other tweak programs. XenTweak is only about 200k in size and
it will increase your systems efficiency and performance. http://www.x9000.net/

Have you used either one? | | Distinguished Member with 16,774 posts. | | Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: Canada Experience: Bloody Genius | | Every time I try to install it the program comes back at me with incorrect version for the operating systam. | | Distinguished Member with 9,628 posts. | | Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: Myrtle Beach SC (paradise) Experience: Intermediate | | There are different .bat files for each operating system. Mobo, make sure you run the correct one.. Bats, I have no idea why you're getting the error message, works fine on all the PC's I've tried..
Yes, I have and do use both Zen and Zentweak and can tell you, "In my opinion, they are both awesome". After tweaking all my systems by hand, I run ZenTweak and install all the tweaks, and I can tell a definate preformance and security boost. It even detects and removes some virus's and spyware. It has built in fixes for common problems, like taskbar missing, and CD-roms not showing. You are going to be very impressed useing this one..

#10 | PMFJI, Hi gotrootdude, I went to that site, and first downloaded XEN, and ran it, it freed up 83mb on my hd, and seems to be fairly easy to navigate. I then downloaded Xentweaks, but when I went to Winzip to unzip it askes me to confirm file overwrite/Replace file/C:unzipped\xentweaks\commands\CHOICE.COM 6kb 3/9/02 8:45pm, with file CHOICE.COM 6kb 3/9/02 8:45pm, and then underneath it has Yes, yes to all, no, cancel, help. if I click on yes, or no, it goes to another window wanting me to confirm another file overwrite, and then several others after that. Kind of confused should I yes to all, or no. Have never had Winzip ask me to confirm file overwrite. Any hints or ideas appreciated.
Regards

#14 | Thanks for the replys McTimson, and mobo, don`t ask me how it did it, but when I went to my hd to look at xen again, all of a sudden right next to it was xentweaks, don`t know how it got there, but it seems to be functioning, may be just a glitch in Winzip, don`t know. Thanks for the help.
