Retrieving Deleted Email
I wonder if any of you are retired FBI agents? lol I have been told that everything that has been put into a computer is always in that computer. My nephew shot and killed himself the 27 of October. My sister deleted his email because she didn't have his password and it was his email address that kept coming up when she tried to send out any. So, now, because of the circumstances, her isp gave her his password and NOW she wants to access it!!! She thinks you all are brilliant and can make majic and things appear from outerspace.... is there a way to bring back that lost file you think? I'd appreciate any help you could give me cause she is riding me hard on this one! I think only the FBI can do this one! lol Thanks in advance! MB

First i would stop using the computer and has she checked the re-cycle bin ? If empty , here are two apps i found but have never used .DBXtract and Restoration seem to be the cats meow from searching here and a couple of other tech boards .

I believe AcaCandy had an e-mail deletion thread awhile back , do a search or P.M. her for the link ...good luck .

Thanks for the b-day wishes , but unfortunately i`ve never used either of the apps i posted . She should stop if she doesn`t know how they work as she could be writing over files that cannot be replaced.

If you don`t get any more responses in a day or two , type " bump" in a reply and that will move it to the top again for others to see who may have encountered the same problem .
