Looking for any suggestions where I could find free sound effects to dload...e.g. dog barking, door bell, etc.

Thanks.

I found a few sounds I'd like to assign to certain events. How would I go about doing that? Thanks for any tips.

Your welcome ...... Look under sounds in your control panel . Click the event , assign a windows default sound , or click browse and point a path to where the sound is located and hit apply.

After downloading the mp3 files from wave central - is there a way to switch them to .wav files?

When I browsed to the folder where the sound was, I couldn't see it in there. What's going on??

Do I have to move it somewhere first?

Excuse my ignorance.

Do a search for the name of the downloaded sound , and look in your media player.

Nothing in Media Player. I can see the file in the folder that I downloaded it to, but when I try to go through Sounds and Audio Devices, I can't seem to access it to add it to an event. I don't see it in there at all.

???
