Quick and Easy E-mail saving
If you want to save large amounts of email from Outlook Express, for whatever reason- formatting, or just want to clear out the Inbox or Deleted Items box- there is a simple way of doing it.
1) Create a folder on your desktop and give it a name (for example, Saved Mail).
2) Open Outlook Express, then your inbox or deleted items box.
3) Click Edit > Select All.
4) Make the window smaller so that the Desktop is visible.
5) Drag the hilighted mail onto the folder you created on the desktop.
You now have a copy of all your emails in the desktop folder. You can save this folder to any location; you can even burn it to a CD. Double clicking will open any of the emails with your default mail client. Attachments are also saved.
Thanks to Melissa and my good friend Mike for this simple, painless solution.
