loading windows
I tried to put a 40 gig HD in a pc but win 98 only recognised it as a 4 GIG. i want to put it in my exisiting PC and install win 98 on it for the other computer. How do I get 98 on to the second HD?

Sounds like you had an old version of fdisk or you formatted with fat16..I would download a fresh from http://www.24by7.ca/files/boot98se.exe then insert a fully formatted floppy in the drive and double click on the downloaded file..then reboot and fdisk, delete all partitions, then make a prmary dos partition and set it as active..Then select "Y" when prompted for large disk support..Reboot with both the bootdisk and cdrom in thier drivers and at the A:> prompt type SETUP.
